1.3 Definitions
"Sensitive Data" refers to any confidential or private information relating to our clients and their customers, including but not limited to financial information, personally identifiable information (PII), tax records, and other proprietary information.
"Employees" are individuals working for or under contract with Vintti, regardless of their location.
"Client(s)" are U.S.-based accounting firms who engage Vintti for its remote staffing solutions.
"IRS" refers to the United States Internal Revenue Service, the government agency responsible for tax collection and tax law enforcement.
"Unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction" refers to any access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction of sensitive data that is not expressly permitted by Vintti and/or its clients.
"WISP" is the acronym for Written Information Security Plan, which is this document that outlines our strategy, policies, and procedures for protecting sensitive data.
